Tired of ridiculous capping rules, low speed and poor customer care? Have you ever imagined what would it be like downloading a HD movie in 33 seconds flat; uploading 100 images in 5 seconds?
It seems that coming year 2015 will be the great year for Indian internet users as Google may makes a history over Indian Internet. According to the recent reports, Google is going to introduce its fasted 1 GBps internet speed “Google Fiber” service in India. For now, talks are going on between Google Fibre Team and the IT Ministry . “We are keen to partner a company like Google in furthering the Digital India plan. Modalities have to be worked out” said one of the officials from IT ministry.
Google Fiber is Google’s own broadband services which provides Internet speed upto 1000 MBPS or 1 GBPS, which would be an entirely new experience for an Indian user. In a country like India, where two-third of the entries population is not connected with internet and those who are connected is having a average internet speed of 2Mbps. Introducing the Google Fiber in this will be quite tough for Google but will definitely helps in evolution of the country’s internet speed.
Google has launched a similar programme in US called google fiber where it provides broadband Internet and television to a small area.In February 2014 , Google announced they will expand their network to 34 differnt cities. Google Fiber Internet got strong positive response in US , people seem to be happy with this kind of service from internet giant itself.
